Senior Product Manager

Description

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:
Product Discovery & Roadmap Development You'll collaborate with customers, stakeholders, designers, and engineers to identify opportunities, define product requirements, and prioritize roadmap initiatives. You'll work through ambiguity and help turn complex problems into scalable product solutions. AI-Powered Product Innovation You'll contribute to the development of AI-native experiences, helping define intelligent workflows, automation capabilities, personalization experiences, and conversational interfaces. You'll evaluate opportunities for both traditional machine learning and Generative AI technologies.

Requirements & Execution You'll partner closely with engineering and UX teams to document requirements, define acceptance criteria, refine backlogs, and support development through delivery and launch. Cross-Functional Collaboration You'll work daily with Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution. Data-Driven Decision Making You'll define success metrics, evaluate outcomes, analyze product performance, and make recommendations that improve customer and business value.

Technology Advocacy You'll serve as a champion for emerging technology and AI innovation, bringing new ideas, industry trends, and practical applications into roadmap discussions. Presentations & Stakeholder Communication You'll regularly communicate product vision, priorities, progress, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

AI / Technology Orientation (Required) The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong passion for technology and AI both personally and professionally. Candidates should have experience or exposure to:
Generative AI technologies Machine Learning concepts AI-enabled product experiences Prompt engineering fundamentals Intelligent automation solutions Conversational AI platforms Professional AI experience is highly preferred; however, strong personal projects, experimentation, or demonstrated self-learning may also be considered. Product Management Skills Experience launching and scaling digital products. Strong product discovery, prioritization, and roadmap management experience. Comfortable partnering with engineering teams on technical product decisions.

Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements. Experience working in Agile product environments. Experience shipping GenAI-powered products or features. Experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI copilots, or conversational interfaces. SQL proficiency. Experience working with event-driven architectures or data-intensive applications. Exposure to HCM, Payroll, HR Tech, Fin Tech, Compliance, or other regulated industries. Experience working with recommendation systems, predictive models, or personalization platforms.

Experience partnering closely with UX teams throughout the product lifecycle. Side projects or personal experimentation involving AI technologies.

This is a Contract position based out of Roseland, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $76.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
