Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction aligned to IEP goals, student skill levels, and curricular expectations as appropriate.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying learning styles, abilities, and needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate educational records and documentation.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with CST, BCBAs, related service providers, and families to support consistent programming.
- Supervise and support paraprofessionals as assigned.
- Maintain compliance documentation including progress monitoring and IEP implementation records.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey Instructional Endorsement.
- Teacher of Elementary School and Teacher of Student with Disabilities or Teacher of the Handicapped Endorsement
- Demonstrated knowledge of subject matter, effective instructional strategies, and developmentally appropriate classroom practices.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and New Jersey special education regulations.
- Strong classroom management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Salary: $66,000.00 - $74,961.00 Final salary commensurate with experience and in accordance with the Roselle Park Education Association's collectively bargained agreement
