Roselle Middle School is looking for a full-time math teacher who will be responsible for fostering a student-centered, collaborative learning environment where all students belong, engage, and grow
. The teacher will design and implement standards‑aligned math instruction that promotes problem‑solving, mathematical reasoning, and real‑world application of concepts.
The ideal candidate creates opportunities for students to engage in meaningful dialogue, inquiry, and collaborative learning experiences that build both confidence and competence in mathematics. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, collaborating with colleagues and support staff, and maintaining open communication with families. A strong commitment to building an inclusive classroom community where every student feels a sense of belonging is essential.
Effective classroom management, the use of data to inform instruction, and a focus on student engagement and growth are key components of this role.
Starting salary for a candidate with a bachelor's degree and no experience is $54,601 for the 2026–27 school year.
