We're seeking an Accounting Manager for $70M component manufacturer located near Roselle, IL. This candidate will offer experience with inventory, cost accounting or cost of goods within a manufacturing environment.
Our client is seeking a candidate that can grow into a Controller title and duties.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare timely monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple entities
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and account analysis
- Analyze job profitability and inventory on a daily and monthly basis
- Reconcile perpetual inventory records to the general ledger
- Monitor daily cash balances, short-term borrowing, and bank covenant compliance
- Lead the annual budgeting process and coordinate external audits
- Oversee customer credit reviews, credit terms, and collections
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7–15 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience
