Job Summary
The Quality Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products within a manufacturing environment. This position involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits to uphold the highest standards of quality.
SalaryThe hourly wage for this position ranges from $27.35 to $32.70, based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. The starting rate within this range will be determined by the candidate's experience, qualifications, and skill set.

Essential Functions- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct tests on materials and finished products to assess their quality and compliance with specifications.
- Analyze test results and promptly communicate findings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality‑related data.
- Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and quality standards.
- Investigate and identify the root causes of quality issues.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
- Enforce quality control procedures to prevent defects and deviations in the production process.
- Effectively communicate quality standards and expectations to production teams.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing enhancements to quality control processes.
- Provide training to production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
- Report and document non‑conforming materials or products; collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve non‑conformance issues.
High School Diploma or GED
Experience- 2–5 years of experience in quality control roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of quality control principles, testing methods, and inspection techniques.
- Recent, hands‑on experience using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, and gauge pins/blocks.
- Proficient in maintaining detailed and accurate records.
- Ability to analyze data and test results, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvement.
