Outside Sales Representative

Compensation: $75K - $85K base salary plus uncapped commission with total comp from 150K – 300K

About the Role

This is a pure hunter sales role at a well-established, privately owned manufacturer serving the printing and packaging industries. The company has been in business for decades, has a loyal customer base, and is growing. This is not an account management position. They need someone who wakes up every day looking for new business and knows how to close it.

The earning potential here is real: good performers consistently hit a total comp of $150K or more. The top performer on the team has earned up to $300K. Commission is uncapped and tied directly to what you bring in.

This is a hybrid role with a mix of office time and field-based selling.

Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business across target industries, including converting, packaging, and graphic arts
  • Drive the full sales cycle from cold outreach through close
  • Build relationships with new customers and convert prospects into long-term accounts
  • Collaborate with account managers to ensure smooth handoff and customer retention after the sale
  • Maintain activity in the field with regular visits to customer and prospect locations
  • Report sales activity and pipeline updates to the sales manager
Requirements
  • Proven track record as a hunter in outside B2B sales
  • Background in converting, packaging, printing or graphic arts industry is preferred but not required
  • Strong salespeople from other industries are welcome to apply
  • Smart, hungry, and high character; these qualities matter more than a degree or a perfect resume
  • Stable work history with demonstrated ability to build a book of business
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular field activity
  • Self-motivated with the drive to prospect independently and consistently
Compensation and Benefits
  • $75K to $85K base salary
  • Uncapped commission with total compensation potential up to $300K and beyond
