Job SummaryThis position is for a High School Interventionist (Reading Specialist) for the School Year September 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027.
Qualifications / Responsibilities- Valid teaching certification (secondary level required; reading specialist certification and/or Orton‑Gillingham preferred)
- Coordinates the collection and analysis of student data
- Provides targeted academic support to struggling high school students
- Delivers Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions within an MTSS framework
- Collaborates with general education teachers to close achievement gaps and improve student outcomes.
- Monitors grade-level proficiency and graduation readiness.
- Supports students performing below grade level in reading, writing, mathematics, and academic language
REA Salary Guide Range – BA:
Step 1 $ 63,000 – MA+30 Step 21 $ 106,295
