Position: Curriculum Writers for High School

Job Summary

The position is for three (3) teachers for High School Curriculum Writing for Biology and Chemistry.

Qualifications
  • Must hold appropriate New Jersey Science certification (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics certification).
  • Must be knowledgeable in the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Science (NJSLS-S) and Science and Engineering Practices (SEPs).
  • Experience with curriculum writing and developing standards‑aligned instructional materials preferred.
  • Should be proficient in designing engaging, inquiry‑based learning experiences, assessments, and differentiated instructional strategies for high school students.
  • Knowledge of environmental science topics including ecology, sustainability, climate science, and human impact on Earth systems preferred.

Abraham Clark High School, District

Salary

35 hours per person at $36.30 per hour.
