Job Summary:
This position is a Gifted and Talented Coordinator 2026/2027 Sy.
Qualifications:
Valid teaching or administrator certification. Experience administering and interpreting CogAT Screener. Experience differentiating instruction for diverse learners. Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of gifted education theory, instructional strategies, and assessment practices. Responsibilities Program Management & Strategy:
Lead the development, execution, and continuous evaluation of comprehensive district-wide G&T services and specialized academic pathways. Student Identification:
Establish fair, comprehensive assessment processes and evaluation protocols to identify gifted learners, and communicate these results to teachers and parents. Instruction & Curriculum:
Collaborate with content departments to design individualized learning plans (ILPs), acceleration models, and enriching interdisciplinary units of study. Professional Development:
Design and deliver research-based training to help classroom teachers differentiate instruction and support the specific social and emotional needs of gifted learners. Compliance & Advocacy:
Monitor programs for compliance with state laws and district policies, oversee budgets, and secure funding or grant opportunities. Application Procedure:
