Job Summary:
The position is a Science Teacher at GWJHS
Qualifications:
Appropriate NJDOE Science certifications (K-12) Familiar with Common Core Standards. Comprehensive certifications preferred. Strong disciplinary and organizational skills. Ability to work as a member of a team. Ability to exercise good judgment and promote a safe and secure learning environment. Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned Social Studies lessons that promote critical thinking, historical analysis, and civic awareness. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners and fosters student voice and discussion.
Use data to assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual and group learning needs. Integrate technology and primary and secondary sources to enhance instruction and deepen student understanding.
Salary: REA Salary Guide Range Step 1 BA: $55,526.00 to Step 21: MA+30 $
