Preschool Instructional Coach

This position is for a Preschool Instructional Coach for the 2026/2027 SY. The Preschool Intervention & Collaboration (PIC) Teacher provides instructional support within preschool classrooms to ensure all children have equitable access to high-quality, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The PIC Teacher collaborates with classroom teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and administrators to strengthen instructional practices, support inclusive learning environments, and promote positive outcomes for all preschool students.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with preschool classroom teachers to support high-quality instruction and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Provide targeted instructional support and intervention to individual students and small groups within preschool classrooms.
• Support the implementation of inclusive instructional practices that meet the needs of all learners.
• Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with Child Study Team members, related service providers, and other instructional staff to support student success.
• Model effective instructional strategies and provide classroom-based support as needed.
• Assist with progress monitoring and documentation related to student learning.
• Foster positive partnerships with families through effective communication and collaboration.
• Participate in professional learning, team meetings, and district initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required reports in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal, or designee.

Qualifications:

Valid New Jersey Preschool through Grade 3 (P3) Certificate required. Experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and inclusive preschool education. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
