Preschool Instructional Coach

Job Summary

Position type:
Elementary School Teaching. This position is for a Preschool Instructional Coach for the 2026/2027 school year located in the District.

• Collaborate with preschool classroom teachers to support high-quality instruction and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Provide targeted instructional support and intervention to individual students and small groups within preschool classrooms.
• Support the implementation of inclusive instructional practices that meet the needs of all learners.
• Utilize assessment data to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with Child Study Team members, related service providers, and other instructional staff to support student success.
• Model effective instructional strategies and provide classroom-based support as needed.
• Assist with progress monitoring and documentation related to student learning.
• Foster positive partnerships with families through effective communication and collaboration.
• Participate in professional learning, team meetings, and district initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and complete required reports in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal, Vice Principal, or designee.

• Valid New Jersey Preschool through Grade 3 (P
  3) Certificate required.
• Experience teaching preschool-aged children preferred.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and inclusive preschool education.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Salary: REA Salary Guide Range – Step 1 BA: $63,000.00 to Step 21 MA+30 $.
