Vocal Music Teacher
Job Summary:
This position is for a Vocal Music Teacher at Abraham Clark High School for the 2026/2027 SY.
Qualifications:
- Possesses NJ Visual Arts or Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate
- Knowledge of industry standards & literacy
- Software
Skills:
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom) - Teach the technical and aesthetic fundamentals of digital photography, including ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and exposure
- Instruct students on industry-standard photo editing and post-processing using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
- Evaluate student progress through project-based assessments, critiques, and portfolio reviews.
- Ability to collaborate and develop strong, engaging lessons for students that promote STEAM, creativity, design thinking, and innovation.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Experience designing project-based learning units where students act as a "PR crew" for district events.
- Ability to guide students in creating a professional or digital portfolio for college or entry-level employment.
- Possesses a great talent in the Integration of Technology
- Understand Cross-curricular connections
- Ability to promote strong learning culture
- Ability to collaborate and develop engaging lessons with the faculty and provide support through the classroom activities, coaching, co-teaching, and modeling.
