About the job Recovery Partnership Navigator

Reports to: Director of Recovery Community Development Division

Employee Type:
Exempt/Full Time 35 hours/week

Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000

Location:
Union County, NJ:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Amount of travel and any other special: Must possess a valid driver's license and method of transportation. The position requires regionalized travel. All travel mileage will be reimbursed.

Evening and Weekend Availability: Must be available evenings and weekends

Hours per day or week: 35 hours per week.

Description of duties and responsibilities:

  • Program and participant coordination
    • Immediately reports any concerns to the Division Director
    • Coordinate and assist in the implementation of all programming
    • Coordinate community linkages and partnerships
    • Facilitate connection between regional treatment organizations and staff
    • Building and fostering partnerships with statewide recovery community organizations
    • Supports volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, retention and coordination
    • Provide Division Director with relevant data and reports for program evaluation
    • Regularly updates program schedule and offerings, informing participants of any changes
  • Community outreach
    • Assists in the coordination and implementation of organizational meetings, training/technical assistance and events
    • Assists in the coordination and implementation of community outreach events
    • Facilitates outreach about services to regional treatment providers and stakeholders
    • Develops a regional recovery community resource map

Qualifications for the position:

  • Bachelor's Degree in social work, human services, or a related field
  • At least two (2) years experience in providing services to individuals with SUD
  • NJ-certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) preferred

Skills, knowledge, and Personal Qualities required: Must possess the skills, knowledge, and personal qualities required to fulfill the responsibilities listed above. Bilingual preferred. Strong writing and computer skills are required.
