Key Responsibilities
- Complete servicing functions for loans sold to Freddie Mac, including daily and monthly remittance, system status updates, and bank account reconciliations.
- Board new loans into the Core System and review system maintenance reports to identify and correct errors.
- Research and resolve account issues, including non-posted lockbox payments, posting rejects, unapplied funds, and loan WIP account items.
- Process loan payments, payoff funds, returned items, auto debit requests, ACH requests, and payoff quote demands.
- Respond to internal and external customer inquiries, verification of loan requests, and general loan servicing questions.
- Update collateral information and prepare mortgage release documents for paid-in-full loans.
