Roles & Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders to improve patient outcomes
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals
Monitor patient progress closely and adjust therapy plans as needed
Maintain accurate, timely documentation to support clinical continuity and compliance
Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Qualifications Active California SLP license (required) — must be current and in good standing
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current BLS certification
SNF experience preferred (experience with skilled nursing residents a plus)
Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills with patients and team members
Education Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Knowledge & Skills Skilled in evaluation and treatment of dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders
Proficient with clinical documentation and care planning in SNF settings
Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
Strong patient-centered care approach and adaptability to varied caseloads
Competent in educating patients, families, and staff about therapy goals and strategies
