PI Subject Matter Expert

Akkodis is seeking an PI Subject Matter Expert for a Contract with a client in Rosemead, CA. The ideal candidate will lead the design, migration, and stabilization of AVEVA PI environments, including eDNA to PI transitions, metadata modeling, and production cutovers.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

PI Subject Matter Expert Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end AVEVA PI environment design, build, and migration initiatives, including eDNA to PI transitions.
• Conduct gap analysis, define strategies, and manage metadata modeling for Grid systems (WAMS, EMS, CRAS).
• Execute event file migrations, historical data loads, and validate data accuracy and performance.
• Design and implement PI interfaces (DGA, Delta
  
  X) to ensure seamless system integration.
• Support testing, performance tuning, data reconciliation, and production cutover activities.
• Provide post-go-live support, documentation, training, and stakeholder coordination for successful stabilization and handover.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience working with AVEVA PI systems and enterprise historian platforms.
• Strong expertise in AVEVA PI (AF, DA, Vision) with proven experience in eDNA to PI migration and large-scale data historian implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Grid systems (WAMS, EMS, CRAS), including metadata modeling, interface development, and production cutover support.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
