Roles and Responsibilities:

• Gather non-functional requirements documents based on client SME inputs, reviewing demos of existing systems and discussion with supervisor. Prepare Requirements Traceability Matrix using requirements elicitation and analysis tools and traceability techniques.
• Test Strategizing
  - Consolidate inputs from project teams, estimate effort using estimation methodologies and prepare test strategy documents based on requirements, testing environment and non-functional attributes (like scalability, endurance)
• Test Planning
  - Develop/validate test design consisting of scenarios, types of testing and number of cycles of testing required for the test module using Test Design principles and knowledge of multiple performance test tools and ensure readiness to begin testing for the assigned module.
• Test Scripts Development
  - Review complex test case scenarios and analyze appropriate protocols that fits in and develop performance test scripts using industry standard performance testing tools.
• Test Environment/Data Management
  - Ensure that the test environment is set up in collaboration with the client teams, validate test data for different modules, identify risks in data setup, ensure backup and restore process.
• Performance Environment Setup – Review infrastructure of Performance Test environment and ensure timely maintenance of Infrastructure for Performance tests.
• Test Execution and Result Analysis – Design test scenario and execute performance tests, validate results of test executed by team, Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks
• Client and Team interfacing
  - Ensure timely interactions and reporting to the client on the performance testing activities, update offshore team regularly on the activities to be performed, Support team wherever required for resolving any issues related to deliverables and provide inputs on critical capabilities.
• Knowledge Management
  - Review knowledge management activities in the project to help track and improve knowledge management within the project and leverage information from other projects.
• Co-ordinate with other support teams to complete the test successfully.
• Provide high level report with observations and final reports walk through to client's senior leadership team.

Skills /

Competencies:

10+ years of experience in Performance Testing Life Cycle activities

• Proficient in NFR analysis, breaking requirements into test scenarios
• Strong knowledge in SAP S4
  
  HANA and proficient in SAP Performance Testing
• Must-have hands-on experience with scripting and execution using JMeter/Blaze Meter, Microfocus Load Runner / Performance Center, Dynatrace and Splunk tools using different protocols like Http/Html, Web Services, Citrix, Ajax Truclient etc.
• Trouble shoot and conduct admin activities for Microfocus Performance Center including debugging Load Generator, host machine issues and fixing operational issues.
• Proficient in understanding and presenting various performance testing metrics
• Should be able to execute and monitor different types of performance tests like Load, Stress, Endurance, Scalability tests.
• Hands on experience to develop performance test plans and performance test reports
• Should be able to plan and create test data setup approach, implement test data setup strategies required for performance testing.
• Good understanding of SCRUM/Agile methodology and drive performance testing projects in CI/CD environment for CT in applicable areas using tools like Jenkins.
• Proficiency in coding with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, JS, Python etc.)
• Consolidate inputs from project teams, estimate performance testing effort using estimation methodologies and prepare performance test strategy, test plan document based on requirements, testing environment and non-functional attributes
• Test Management Tools like Client-ALM, Jira etc and defect life cycle
• Comfortable working on changes of various size and performance testing for Agile Sprints.
• Ability to work in a large team environment and communicate effectively with developers and other supporting teams like Database Admins, Infrastructure and Network teams.
