Office Administrator/ Coordinator
FHR Pine Bend is currently seeking an Laboratory Coordinator that will support the laboratory as an administrative assistant. This position is responsible for maintaining laboratory inventory, ensuring the lab is stocked with supplies and chemicals, and performing data entry and manipulation in a variety of databases such as Coupa, LIMS, Excel, SharePoint, & Visio. Other responsibilities include facilitating day‑to‑day operations as the go‑to resource for the lab team, records management, filing, material purchasing and vendor coordination, coordinating training and/or large group meetings, and providing general clerical support.
Preferred candidates will possess strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills. The ability to identify, develop and champion improvements in the laboratory team is greatly desired. Candidates must excel in a multi‑functional team, prioritize multiple tasks, troubleshoot supply‑chain issues, and work with the lab team to find alternate solutions. Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and working closely with warehouse and procurement teams is key.
This position is eligible for a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off.

Requirements:
- Experience in an administrative/support role
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Administrative experience in an industrial and/or laboratory setting
- Purchasing and vendor coordination experience
- Experience working with a union/bargaining unit
