Salary: $139,775+, depending on experience and qualifications.
POSITION OVERVIEWProvides strategic leadership for district-wide systems and services that support student well-being, social-emotional learning, mental health, behavior, and equitable access to educational opportunities. Directs and supervises Principals/Assistant Directors and other assigned staff including board certified behavior analysts, school counselors/school social workers, school psychologists, and other support personnel, through coaching, mentoring, professional growth, and performance evaluation.
Leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of sustainable systems related to social-emotional learning, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), behavioral interventions, crisis response, and mental health initiatives. Oversees the design, delivery, evaluation, and approval of professional learning and curriculum related to student support services and social-emotional development.
Provides leadership for the district's Core Values Committee and supports the ongoing development of the district's cultural ecosystem by fostering belonging, trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement across programs, departments, and stakeholder groups.
Cultivates and maintains partnerships with schools, families, community organizations, and service providers to enhance student outcomes and support district priorities. Provides leadership for district initiatives that promote inclusive practices, belonging, and equitable access for all students.
Responsible for budget development, resource allocation, program evaluation, and continuous improvement within assigned areas. Collaborates with district and school leaders to establish goals, implement strategic initiatives, and monitor outcomes. Performs related work as assigned.
Work is performed under the general direction of the Executive Director of Student Services and involves significant responsibility for establishing priorities, recommending policy, and leading district-wide initiatives that advance student success and organizational effectiveness.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides leadership for district-wide systems that promote student well‑being, mental health, social‑emotional learning, positive behavior supports, crisis response, and equitable student outcomes.
- Leads the district's Core Values Committee and collaborates with district leaders, staff, students, families, and community partners to strengthen the district's cultural ecosystem and ensure organizational practices align with district values.
- Promotes a culture of integrity, empathy, collaboration, and belonging by supporting implementation of district core values through professional learning, leadership development, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Directs, supervises, coaches, mentors, and evaluates assigned staff while fostering a culture of accountability, growth, trust, and professional excellence.
- Leads the development, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of district-wide frameworks, procedures, and practices related to social-emotional learning, mental health supports, behavioral interventions, crisis response, threat assessment, restrictive procedures, and student safety.
