Job Overview
Cub Rosemount is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a part‑time pharmacy technician position. Pharmacy technician team members at Cub are responsible for processing prescriptions, record keeping, and stock support to the pharmacy. The position also maintains shelf stock to ensure maximum product availability and sales.
Job Responsibilities- Assists the pharmacist in filling prescriptions.
- Accurately processes customers’ orders ensuring price accuracy and product knowledge.
- Ensures positive customer relations.
- Handles hazardous drugs.
- Performs department receiving and stocking.
- Assists in ordering.
- Pulls bottles of drugs for pharmacists to fill prescriptions.
- Organizes and cleans.
- Maintains Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Communicates through two‑way verbal and written communication.
- Operates and uses various office equipment (personal computer, telephone, fax).
- Works extended hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Reads and writes with close proximity (reading distance).
- Comprehends written and verbal communication.
- Views computer screens for extensive periods.
- Requires High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years of age and older.
- Uses good judgment, as direct supervision may not always be immediately available.
- Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
- Walk on uneven ground.
- Reach, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
- Varied weekly shifts.
- Weekends required.
