Inspector Packer; Night Shift

Our Rosemount, MN facility needs a Bag Inspector to join our team! We are looking to fill the 2nd Shift (3pm - 1am) Monday - Friday. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. • Pull hands of bags onto inspection table, and inspect by flipping through bags, looking at sealed ends for open ends, doubles, triples, crocked folds, turn backs, turn under, loosely sealed folds, improper sized gussets, and lack of anti‑skid or lacquer.
• Set aside a hand of bags at the beginning of an order, or when needed, to replace those periodically checked and torn down.
• Discard any poor quality bags.
• Reclaim bags by using glue gun.
• Notify the Bottomer Operator if there is a continual problem.
• Count and record the number of bags stacked on each pallet for the shift, and report to the Bottomer Operator.
• Assist other inspectors by sweeping and inspecting when all work in the area is complete.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by management to ensure continuity of production.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Ability to bend, twist and kneel.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand continuously for 2–3 hours.
• Ability to perceive colors.
• Must have manual dexterity.
