Responsible for unloading rail cars and barges, loading trucks and rail cars, and general operations and maintenance at Mosaic’s Non‑Union Distribution Facilities.
LocationOnsite Mosaic Pine Bend – 5300 Pine Bend Trail, Rosemount, MN 55068
ScheduleHours are typically M‑F 7:00am‑3:30pm; shift work schedule is possible after the first six months.
Responsibilities- Loading trucks, off‑loading rail cars and barges.
- Operating various equipment such as front‑end loaders, telehandlers, high lifts, Sennebogen (E‑crane), payloader, etc.
- All employees are cross‑trained to perform all tasks at the facility, making the role diverse and flexible.
- Demonstrate commitment to environmental, health, and safety by complying with all EHS policies, wearing proper PPE, reporting unsafe work conditions and/or accidents promptly, and attending and participating in all safety meetings and training.
- Demonstrate positive behavioral qualities such as striving to be a team player, dependable, approachable, and a continuous learner.
- Through the progression program, train and demonstrate competency in all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance procedures.
- Attain and maintain competency in operations positions including control room operator, hazardous material technician, Sennebogen operator, payloader operator, and dry product rail loader/unloader.
- Attain and maintain competency in maintenance activities such as preventive maintenance procedures on truck and rail loading/unloading stations, relief valves, mobile equipment repair, and maintenance of conveyor belt system.
- High school diploma or GED certificate is preferred; associate degree in process technology discipline is preferred.
- Entry level – chemical or industrial operations preferred.
- 1–2 years’ experience working in an industrial setting and operating mobile equipment in industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Physical requirements:
able to lift 50lb or more unassisted, climb stairs, work at various heights, hear, read and write basic English, see with or without correction, use fine hand motor skills, wear a respirator, work in tight or closed-in spaces, and work rotating shifts and overtime as required. - Proficiency and comprehension of reading and writing English; comfortable with simple math.
