Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Field & Shop Service

This is a Union position, so the expected pay range is based on Union scale for International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49 (MN).

Lunda Construction Company, A Tutor Perini Company, has a great opportunity for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Union) to join our team at our Rosemount, MN yard location.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment and diesel trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance following manufacturer standards
• Repair engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, HVAC, brakes, suspension, and drive trains
• Use diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, cranes, and hoists
• Complete electronic service documentation accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service truck and work area
• Work safely and follow all company and regulatory safety policies

• Diesel or heavy equipment technical training or equivalent experience
• One (1) or more years of Heavy Equipment experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in an active environment
