Repair and replace brake systems, couplers, draft gears, valves, air hoses, and mechanical components;
Perform welding, cutting, straightening, patching, and steel fabrication repairs;
Restore and repair freight car structures including floors, side panels, doors, underframes, piping, and supports;
Prepare railcars for painting, clean surfaces, and apply stenciling and markings;
Work with hand tools, power tools, hydraulic equipment, and welding equipment
