Job Summary:

McNamara Contracting, a McNamara Company, is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team. The primary functions of the loader operator include but are not limited to being responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment, along with being able to work around mobile aggregate mining and crushing equipment and effectively monitor all equipment under their control.

Position Description:

• Operate various sizes of loaders and monitor equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections, repair, clean and grease equipment.
• Maintain overall upkeep of plant, equipment, and site, including maintaining haul roads and berms.
• Operate scales and other tools to load trucks and ensure accuracy.
• Regular, reliable attendance and punctuality at the worksite or assigned work location.
• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures set by OSHA, DOT and company policies.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work collectively as a team and independently.
• 1-year front-end loader and 2 years' heavy equipment operating experience required.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Additional Information:

• Exposure to outdoor work environments under varying conditions.
• Ability to work in high-paced, dynamic surroundings and swift decision-making.
• Ability to lift various dimensions and up to 75 lbs. frequently.

This is a union position.

Pay: $46.25/ hour based on union scale
