Fed Ex - - Responsibilities:
Move trailers between yard, doors, and yard areas;
Coordinate trailer movements with management/central control;
Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards;
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment;
Load/unload/sort packages by hand as required;
Operate in hot/cold temperatures, loud environments, fumes;
Follow safety procedures for yard switching;
May perform package handler duties as needed
