Responsibilities- Provide technical support to faculty and staff related to the College's online learning management system.
- Facilitate the Student Online Learning Orientation and provide student support throughout the process.
- Provide resources to assist students in learning management system functions.
- Provide support for software related to instruction and course delivery.
- Develop instructional web and media-based interactive learning objects (tutorials, demos, training modules) as resources for stakeholders.
- Provide training and assistance to faculty on appropriate online tools.
- Develop and lead professional development opportunities for faculty and staff on instructional tools and best practices in their use.
- Provide technical support for all learning management system instructional initiatives to improve learning outcomes, facilitate technology-rich teaching, and advance curricular innovation.
- Responsible for associating course blueprints to each semester's live course shells in the College's learning management system.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience with learning management systems or educational technology tools.
- Knowledge of technology tools used to deliver online content.
- Familiar with instructional design principles and online learning best practices.
- Strong ability to communicate online using email, chat, video conferencing, and other technology-based communication media.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with some supervision.
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
