A well-established chemical solutions company is seeking an EHS Manager to join the team. This on‑site role supports multiple production facilities in a stable, process‑intensive environment. The EHS Manager is directly responsible for overseeing day-to-day environmental, health, and safety operations and will manage programs to comply with corporate standards, guidelines, and federal regulations while striving to maintain world‑class safety and environmental performance.

- Manage and supervise the EH&S department.
- Provide guidance on all safety related issues in a chemical plant environment.
- Enhance and implement plant safety systems including, but not limited to, accident/incident prevention systems, safety training programs, and chemical/hazardous material handling policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and laboratory partners to provide technical and regulatory support to ensure environmental compliance, improvement, and leadership.
- Perform risk assessment for processes, new equipment, and chemical production processes regarding relevant exposures and hazards, developing corrective solutions in a fiscally and operationally responsible manner.
- Supervise EH&S programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.
- Manage RMP & PSM programs.
- Manage relationships and key communications with regulatory agencies (TCEQ, OSHA, etc.).
- Oversee environmental management process (updating hazardous materials business plan (HMBP), chemical inventory, waste streams and other required data for permitting submittals).
- Maintain chemical inventory information to ensure accurate location and allowable quantities for project activities.
- Develop and measure KPIs to assess program effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Must have experience managing safety systems related to hazardous chemicals (formaldehyde, anhydrous ammonia, etc.); reactionary chemicals experience preferred (molecular change involved).
- Previous experience working with chemicals in the O&G and/or agriculture industry.
- Experience with a PSM‑regulated facility is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of a team, from entry level to upper management.
- Demonstrated analytical and decision‑making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate resources with precision.
- Strong MS Office skills.
