Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000 annually DOE

We are currently seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly knowledgeable Civil / Structural Engineer to join our client's team in Rosenberg, TX. Our client is an industry leader in manufacturing and erecting complete lines of bolted and welded steel storage tanks servicing the potable water, wastewater, fire protection, and oil industries. Primary Responsibilities:

• Structural & Hydraulic Analysis:
  Designing above ground steel storage tanks, concrete foundations, walkways, stairways, platforms, and baffle systems according to industry standards (AWWA, NFPA, API).
• Compliance & Calculations:
  Researching project jurisdictions, applicable building codes, and requirement standards to furnish accurate tank calculations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Reviewing and interpreting customer specifications and drawings while interacting seamlessly with the sales team, clients, and the internal drafting department.
• Project Lifecycle Support:
  Delivering professional engineering work across bid preparation, construction support, and engineering research & development.

Skills &

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience:
  
  7+ years of minimum experience preferred.
• Licensing:
  Professional Engineer (PE) Certification required.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Strong background in concrete and steel design; familiarity with bulk storage silos, tank knowledge, and general metal fabrication processes is highly helpful.
• Software Proficiency:
  Hands-on experience with STAAD, Enercalc, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• Professional
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong problem-solving, time-management, and organizational skills, alongside excellent written and oral communication.
