Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position will assist customers, clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays, as well as assist in making a variety of different tortillas and masa for the department.

• Assist customers

• Assist making a variety of different tortillas and masa
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling; visual and auditory requirements for the job

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra awesome).
