Position:
Human Resources Manager — Full Time
Education:
4 Year Degree required
Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
Responsibilities- Lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
- Supervisory responsibilities:
recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff; oversee daily workflow; provide constructive and timely performance evaluations; handle discipline and termination in accordance with policy; may oversee scheduling, assignments, and daily workflow of subordinate staff; may assist with performance evaluations. - Human Resources duties: partner with leadership to execute the organization's HR strategy related to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide support to the HR Team Leader, management, and staff on complex or sensitive questions; administer routine tasks in delicate situations such as accommodations, investigations, terminations.
- Manage talent acquisition including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified applicants; collaborate with managers to determine required skills and competencies.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to attract and retain talent.
- Create learning and development programs and initiatives for internal development.
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations; ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of employment laws, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR and talent management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Process payroll for all employees and special payrolls for discretionary bonuses or year-end adjustments.
- Oversee timecard approvals for bi-weekly payroll and support managers in using the timekeeping system.
- Review preliminary payroll reports to ensure accurate hours, changes in benefits, deductions, and other payroll items.
- Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting payroll functions.

- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.
- Must have experience with multi-state laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of human resources experience required.
- SHRM-CP required (must obtain within a year of assuming the role).
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
