Summary
You're the goto person on the floor. You help keep the warehouse organized, ensure daily work gets done right, and support the supervisor/manager. You may guide others, but you are hands-on and not managing a large team.
Essential Duties
- Support daily warehouse operations
- Help with receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping
- Make sure parts go to the right place and ship on time
- Jump in wherever help is needed
- Lead by example
- Set the pace and show others how work should be done
- Answer questions and help newer employees
- Escalate issues to the supervisor when needed
- Inventory basics
- Help keep inventory accurate
- Assist with cycle counts
- Follow FIFO (first in, first out)
- Make sure locations are labeled and parts are stored correctly
- Organization & standards
- Keep work areas clean and organized (5S mindset)
- Follow safety rules and PPE requirements
- Help maintain warehouse layouts and flow
- Communication
- Work closely with production, shipping, and supervisors
- Speak up about shortages, damage, or delays
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma
- Associate's degree, preferred
Experience
- Some warehouse experience as a lead preferred, but not required
- Comfortable with physical work and being on your feet
- Willing to learn inventory systems and basic computer work
- Reliable, organized, and pays attention to details
- Can communicate clearly and work well with others
Skills & Abilities
- Basic Math
- Experience with 5S programs
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodology and tools
- English required;
Spanish is a plus

Position Type, Schedule, and Travel
This is a full-time position. Days and hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Lifting and Carrying
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs. (sometimes more, depending on the job)
- The task repeats 6–7 times per 8-hour shift
Standing and Walking
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours)
- Frequent walking throughout the floor to clean, allocate, receive, pack/unpack materials and parts
Bending, Stooping, and Reaching
- Regularly need to bend, twist, kneel, or squat
- Frequently reaching above the shoulders or below the waist
Manual Dexterity and Hand-Eye Coordination
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands, such as assembling small parts, packing, or sorting
- Use of small hand tools, requiring fine motor skills
Vision and Hearing
- Visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) to read labels, gauges, blueprints, or assembly instructions
Work Environment
- Tolerance for light noise, dust, light, and light soldering smoke
