SummaryUnder the direction of the Panel Supervisor, the Panel assembler will work with various functions throughout the business to assemble panels. This will include prepping, wiring, and final assembly.
- Read, use, and understand electrical/ mechanical schematic drawings.
- Responsible for producing high-quality electrical products.
- Fits, files, drills, and assembles junction boxes and panels, or performs a wide variety of diversified and difficult electrical assemblies.
- Assembles, in a predetermined order, electrical components, terminals, and push buttons.
- Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical units.
- Closing job orders daily for the assigned value stream
- Preferred
- High school diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED) - Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Two years of minimum manufacturing experience
- Ability to perform basic math, including the use of calculators
- 1 year of electronic assembly
- Experience with using a computer and or ability to learn basic usage of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
- Experience wiring electrical panels, instrumentation, and devices / point-to-point testing.
- Ability to work from detailed schematics, wire lists, bill of materials, engineering drawings, and documentation.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00-3:30 pm or 3:30-12:00 am. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment Lifting and Carrying- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs. (sometimes more, depending on the job)

- Ability to stand for extended periods (8
-12 hours) - Frequent walking throughout the floor to clean, allocate, receive, pack /unpack materials and parts
- Regularly need to bend, twist, kneel, or squat
- Frequently reaching above the shoulders or below the waist
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with hands, such as assembling small parts, packing, or sorting
- Use of small hand tools, requiring fine motor skills
- Visual acuity (with or without corrective lenses) to read labels, gauges, blueprints, or assembly instructions
- Tolerance for light noise, dust, light, and light soldering smoke
