Position: Environmental Staff Scientist - (Phase I ESA Writer)

Role Description

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist with 2-3 years of experience performing Phase I ESA - Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM standards and Texas regulatory requirements. This position is ideal for someone who is detail oriented, enjoys fieldwork, and wants to grow within the environmental due diligence and remediation space.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,402.07 - $63,494.96 Salary - per year

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in environmental science, Geology, or related field
  • Field Work Skills
  • Experience in Environmental Science Site Assessment
  • Experience in Environmental Consulting
  • 2-3 years of experience in Phase I (ESA) Environmental Site Assessment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations
Key Responsibilities Phase I ESA Duties
  • Conduct site inspections and property reconnaissance.
  • Review historical sources (aerials, city directories, topographic maps, etc.).
  • Review regulatory databases for environmental records.
  • Interview site contacts, property owners, and relevant agencies.
  • Identify Recognized Environmental Conditions (RECs) and prepare clear, defensible findings.
  • Write and prepare a complete Phase I ESA reports following ASTM E1527-21
Phase II ESA, SWPPP (Experienced is a plus)
