POSITION SUMMARY:
The Park Monitor maintains a safe and secure environment for guests and team members by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
Provide customer service to guests, vendors, participants, and colleagues
Raise/Lower U.S. flags and fold according to procedures
Maintaining the Facility Operations Center including providing information, signing in visitors, issuing equipment (keys, radios, fleet vehicles, chairs, tables, etc.)Monitor fire alarms and other emergencies and lead implementation of the facility's Emergency Action Plan while communicating effectively with staff and first responders
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to facilitate a safe environment for guests, vendors, participants, and staff
Monitor CCTVPerform preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on company equipment/ property
Generate and complete incident reports when needed
Demonstrate basic computer knowledge
Organize and file all documentation relating to the position
Assist facility staff in crowd management
Comply and adhere to policy & procedures
Assist other departments in need to accomplish event expectations & facility objectives
Provide shift/event reports
Other duties as assigned by management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of experience in facility or event management, sports administration, or a related field preferred
Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and negotiating skills
Must be a team player
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have excellent computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays required
Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of time WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
Facility has intermittent noise
Weekends, nights, and holidays required
