Construction Accountant - Entry Level in Roseville

Key Responsibilities

• Billing and Invoicing: Prepare, review, and submit progress billings, including AIA documents and lien waivers.
• Accounting Support: Reconcile accounts receivable and project billing records; assist in collections.
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely billing based on contract terms.
• Monitor outstanding payments and address client billing inquiries.
• Maintain detailed organized records of subcontracts, change orders, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations related to construction billing and accounting.
• Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to address discrepancies or billing concerns.

• Education: Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in construction billing and accounting support; proficiency with AIA billing, lien waivers, and construction-related financial documentation.
• Skills: Knowledge of construction accounting software (Trimble, Viewpoint, Foundation, Sage Intact, Procore, or similar); strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools; exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, verbal and written communication.
• Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, and be self‑motivated; previous experience in construction industry or similar field.
