Finance Search Partners (FSP) is seeking multiple experienced Senior Auditors
. This is an excellent opportunity for an audit professional looking to take on greater responsibility, work directly with clients, and play a key role in leading engagements across a diverse range of industries.
The Audit Senior will plan and execute financial statement audits, supervise engagement teams, and serve as a key point of contact for clients. The firm works with clients across manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, construction, retail, and other industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute financial statement audit engagements from start to finish
- Perform risk assessments and develop effective audit strategies and procedures
- Review financial statements, work-papers, and supporting documentation
- Identify, evaluate, and communicate audit issues and recommendations
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding engagement status, issues, and deliverables
- Provide engagement updates and escape significant matters to firm leadership
- Supervise, coach, and mentor junior audit staff
- Ensure audits are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established deadlines
- Stay current with GAAP, auditing standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with engagement teams and firm professionals on complex client matters and special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Active CPA license required
- 2+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on audit
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and professional auditing standards
- Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting/audit software
