The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety programs across multiple construction projects in the Roseville and greater Northern California region. This role partners closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and executive leadership to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and client requirements. The ideal candidate is hands on, calm under pressure, and respected in the field.
What You ll Do- Implement and enforce Uprite Construction safety programs across active jobsites
- Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits
- Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are completed
- Lead jobsite safety orientations and ongoing training for field personnel
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and Cal OSHA regulations
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries and complete required reporting
- Develop Job Hazard Analyses and Site Specific Safety Plans
- Support Superintendents and Project Managers with safety planning and execution
- Track safety metrics and prepare reports for leadership
- Act as the primary safety contact for clients and inspectors
- Promote a strong safety culture through leadership and example
- Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and Cal OSHA standards
- Experience supporting industrial or commercial construction projects
- Ability to manage multiple active jobsites
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
- Proficient with safety documentation and reporting tools
- OSHA 30 Construction
- CHST or CSP preferred
- First Aid and CPR
- Confined Space and Fall Protection training a plus
