Overview
Grow your career by joining the Parks, Recreation & Libraries team as a Child Care Program Assistant. This temporary part‑time position assists with planning, coordinating, and supervising child care and preschool programs year‑round, requiring evening and weekend availability.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with planning, coordinating, and supervising child care and preschool programs.
Qualifications- Minimum of two (2) seasons of paid experience in a childcare program under the supervision of a qualified teacher.
- OR two (2) seasons of paid experience administering and coordinating recreation or related programs.
- Training equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade, GED, or higher level degree plus twelve units in early childhood education, recreation, physical education, elementary education, or a related field.
- Possession of CPR and First Aid certificates within six (6) months of hire.
