we’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to plan, organize and lead a variety of interpretive programs in environmental education or municipal utility systems from school tours and summer camps to adult workshops and exhibit experiences. The current vacancy is a temporary 1500‑hour position located at the roseville utility exploration center.

responsibilitiesplan, organize, and lead a variety of interpretive programs in environmental education and municipal utility systems, including school tours, summer camps, adult workshops, and exhibit experiences. Engage the public and create meaningful, engaging storytelling experiences.
experience and trainingexperience:
- one year of paid or volunteer experience working as a docent/interpreter in a community interpretive, educational, museum or visitor center.
- or twenty semester hours of college coursework in physical or biological sciences, cultural history, anthropology, interpretation, historical preservation, museum studies and management, or a related field.
training:
- equivalents to the completion of the twelfth (12th) grade, ged or higher level education.
- possession of cpr and first aid certificates within six months of hire.

selection processall candidates meeting the minimum qualifications will be scored in a formula rate examination, followed by interview and selection determinations. Final appointment is contingent upon a background check, license verification, and other pre‑employment requirements.
