We seek a dynamic senior engineer to join us as an integral member of our environmental utilities (eu) engineering team at the city of roseville. As a vital member of our eu engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing our city's engineering initiatives. Working within the water utility, your efforts will be focused on ensuring the reliability of the water supply, both presently and for years to come.

Technical responsibilities:

Dive into the core of environmental utilities by providing engineering and oversight support on a variety of water infrastructure and planning projects ranging from water treatment facilities to distribution systems, pipelines, wells, and water supply reliability. Your expertise will be used in designing, planning, and implementing projects to enhance and secure the city's potable water supply system.

Leadership and project management responsibilities:

Develop collaborative relationships within cross-functional teams, establishing positive connections with co-workers, consultants, contractors, city employees, vendors, and public agencies. Take the lead in providing project management of planning, analysis, and construction projects, ensuring the growth and success of the entire team.

The normal work schedule is monday through friday, 8 a.m.

- 5 p.m.; a flex schedule may be available. Candidates may be eligible for a hybrid work schedule with supervisor approval and must be able to report to the city of roseville worksites when required.

Experience:

* two years of responsible professional engineering work similar to that of an associate engineer with the city of roseville, including one year of lead or supervisory responsibility.

And

Training:

* a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with major course work in civil, environmental engineering, construction engineering technology or a closely related field.

And

License or certificate:

* possession of a valid california driver's license by date of appointment.

* possession of a current certificate of registration as a professional civil engineer or professional traffic engineer in california by date of appointment.
