Senior ASIC Verification Engineer
Onsite, primarily working from an HPE office.
ResponsibilitiesLead and provide technical expertise for project teams of electronic and VLSI engineers, overseeing all stages of VLSI design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms. Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with VLSI technology and development guidelines, offering tangible feedback to improve product quality. Provide architecture design and platform leadership for cross‑organization projects and programs. Mentor and guide less experienced staff, participate in the selection of future technical leaders, and drive VLSI innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities.
Education and Experience- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in VLSI design, verification, or implementation.
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, PERL, TCL or equivalent).
- Experience with software programming languages (C; C++).
- Experience with Verilog/System Verilog.
- Proficient in UVM methodologies;
Specman knowledge is a plus.
- Expert level proficiency in electrical engineering fundamentals, VLSI principles, digital logic, and computer architecture.
- Expert level analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Expert knowledge of designing VLSI components, integrated circuitry, architectures and algorithms into solutions.
- Expert knowledge of programming and scripting, hardware description languages, electronic design automation (EDA), and FPGA tools.
- Coursework in VLSI design or VLSI concepts.
- Executive written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Subject‑matter expertise or discipline leadership evidenced through patents or publications in the field of VLSI or electronic/hardware component designs and tools.
