Technical Project Lead
As a technical project lead in our cross-functional Application and Device Engineering team you will support the customer acquisition phase and establish sustainable and lasting customer communication on technical aspects regarding our silicon carbide (SiC) products. In this role you will be the link between our newly established SiC front-end-fabrication site in Roseville, CA and our external customer together with our experienced sales team for North America, covering communication on technical aspects of the SiC device fabrication and the technology roadmap.
Based on your research on the competitive worldwide SiC market and understanding of our customer requirements you will proactively consult our strategic customers (OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers) regarding the use and integration of our SiC products into their applications (e.g. traction inverters, charging systems, solar inverters, industrial drives). Using your market know-how and experience regarding customer requirements you will provide input to our Bosch-internal product and technology roadmap, coordinate internal project resources and present your technical findings within presentations and training.
Profile
- Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Semiconductor Physics or a comparable field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in technical project management or as an application engineer in power electronics, ideally with a clear focus on power semiconductors
- Sound knowledge of Silicon Carbide (SiC) power transistors (MOSFETs, diodes) and their applications (e.g. in e-mobility, renewable energies)
- Deep understanding of the specific characteristics of SiC components (e.g. switching behavior, thermal management, gate driving, parasitics) and their integration into power electronic circuits
- Evident experience in customer interaction in a technical consulting or project manager role
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical issues
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a structured, results-oriented way of working
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and conferences (up to 30%)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of power semiconductor manufacturing processes
- Qualifications in project management (e.g. PMP, IPMA)
- Knowledge of German language is a plus
- This role will work on site in Roseville, CA
- This position works Monday
- Friday, additional hours as necessary - Travel (including internationally) as needed

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 - $140,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
