The City of Roseville is accepting applications for the City-wide classification of Administrative Technician
; the current openings are Regular, Full-time positions in Electric, Public Works and Parks Recreation and Libraries departments.

Are you detail-oriented and ready to make a meaningful impact in local government? The City of Roseville is seeking skilled administrative professionals to perform technical-level administrative duties to support a City department or program; data analysis, report preparation and project coordination. In this dynamic role, you ll work closely with management to understand and translate City policies, track performance metrics and ensure compliance with regulations.

The list established from this recruitment will be used to fill any Regular, Limited Term or Temporary, Part-time vacancies for the duration of the list. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; a flex and/or hybrid schedule may be available depending on department needs.

Experience
  • Three years of responsible administrative support or technical experience preferably in the subject area to which assigned. One year of lead supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Training
  • An Associate s degree or 60 semester units of college level course work including 18 units in a major field of study and 21 units in general education from an accredited college, preferably with course work in public administration, business administration, accounting, industrial relations or a related field based on area of assignment.

  • Two years of related work experience can substitute for an Associate’s Degree.
