Epic Certified Systems Analyst II; MyChart, Cheers, Cadence

Job Description

Located in the Sacramento metropolitan area, Adventist Health corporate headquarters are based in Roseville, California. Our WELL-certified campus offers a collaborative and inspiring environment for associates systemwide.

Performs various duties related to information systems applications including design, build, implementation, support, and testing of computer software and related processes. Works with project and support teams to develop and evaluate major computer applications.

Education and

Work Experience:

• Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience (Preferred)
• Two to Four years’ Health Care IT application/technical experience (Required)
• Two to Four years’ applicable Epic application experience (Preferred)
• Equivalent combination of education and experience that provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility, may be substituted for above requirements (Preferred)

• Epic Certification/Accreditation in area of responsibility (Required)

• Maintains moderately complex system software utilizing established standards and departmental protocols, evaluating user requests for enhancements and coordinating with customers.
• Coordinates analysis of documentation and workflows, designs system components to support appropriate workflows, performs needs assessments for complex workflows, and identifies potential risks.
• Develops and follows project work plans, leads project meetings, collaborates with technical teams to define requirements and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Presents training to a variety of audiences, ensures documentation is current and available, and assesses user proficiency, leading optimization activities.
• Responsible for ongoing on-call duties for critical applications, troubleshooting incidents, and traveling up to 25% of time for support events.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
