Position Description

Join the City of Roseville Environmental Utilities Team! Join our Environmental Utilities team and help drive the City's critical infrastructure forward through innovative Geographic Information Systems (GIS) solutions. In this role, you'll transform complex spatial data into meaningful analysis, maps, reports, and insights that support full-service municipal utility planning, operations, and regulatory compliance. Whether you're building GIS databases, coordinating with cross-department teams, or ensuring the accuracy of essential utility layers, your work will directly influence citywide operations.

Eligibility and

Minimum Qualifications

GIS Analyst I:
Experience and Training

  • No professional experience is required.
  • Education:

    A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in geographic information systems, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.

GIS Analyst II:
Experience and Training

  • Two years of responsible experience performing duties similar to those of an I level GIS Analyst with the City of Roseville.
  • Education:

    A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in geographic information systems, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field.
