Under general direction of the data center manager, this role will support various data center and facility tasks supporting staff, clients, and vendors requesting assistance or information. This position is principally expected to be the main interface clients have while onsite.
Essential Functions- Support user requests, facility escort, and escalate problems to ensure customer service
- Configure access control and support badge processing activities
- Receive shipments and follow asset control procedures for Quest and Client assets
- Operate and maintain data center and facility systems
- Perform facility inspections documenting and producing summary reports
- Adhere to and update documentation and user guides.
- Maintain hardware and software inventory and maintenance logs.
- Follow and improve upon maintenance procedures
- Attention to detail in task planning, coordination, execution, and documentation
- Perform on-call weekend duties following a rotating schedule
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Review and interpret data center and facility capacity metrics and alerts
- Rack equipment into data center cabinets based on rack elevation diagrams
- Routinely work from the Company ticketing system
- Routinely support Company users and clients across various platforms
- Perform facility audits, inspections and capture critical information of data center equipment and fire/life equipment
- Follow documented policies and procedures
- Follow, maintain and update company MSDN documentation
- Well-developed organizational and communication skills
- Perform product receive, release duties, and installation, rack and stack of various equipment
- Must be knowledgeable with MS Programs such as:
Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, Windows
- N/A
- Required to work in an office environment with moderate noise and moderate temperatures
- Incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as required
- Sit for long periods of time
- May lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds
- May require minimal walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bending
- These positions may be expected to work varying shifts and hours to ensure successful operation of activities in the organization
- Position may require Travel to customer and Quest locations
- May require the ability to travel by air or auto

Wages and Benefits- Pay range is $20 - $28 per hour depending on experience.;
Quest recognizes 24 pay periods per calendar year.
Applicant must successfully complete company background check including DMV as well as pre-employment screening. Incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as required.
