Reactor Operator Trainee

Rate of Pay: $26.00/hr
H.B. Fuller is seeking a Reactor Operator Trainee to support the safe and efficient production of chemical products in a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating and monitoring processing equipment, following established procedures, and maintaining quality standards. The trainee will complete hands‑on training while contributing to daily production goals and workplace safety.
Primary Responsibilities- Operate reactors and related production equipment following standard procedures.
- Monitor process parameters and record production data accurately.
- Perform material charging, sampling, and product transfers.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic housekeeping.
- Follow safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Identify and report equipment, process, or safety concerns.
- Support inventory and raw material handling activities.
- Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions.
- Basic math and computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
- Associate degree or technical coursework in manufacturing, chemical processing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or chemical processing environment.
- Experience using process control systems or production equipment.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification after hire.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $26.00.
