Travel RN - Acute Dialysis

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICC team position requiring a CA RN license and at least 2 years of PICC experience.

Job Details

• Work in the PICC team within an adult inpatient hospital setting,

• Day shifts are available (4x10 hours), either 7:00 am - 5:30 pm or 10:00 am - 8:30 pm,

• Every other weekend is required,

• Patient care focuses on vascular access procedures, including insertion and management of PICC lines,

• Epic charting experience is preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active CA RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required,

• At least 2 years of recent experience as a PICC RN,

• Ability to perform vascular access device management, aseptic technique, ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access, and related skills,

• Candidates must provide a 7-year work history for verification,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include vascular access device insertion, troubleshooting, assessments, blood draws, and tip placement confirmations,

• Only one holiday request for time off will be approved,

• Return staff must have at least 1 year gap before returning as a traveler,

• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status,

• Locals are accepted at a different pay rate,

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing,

• Online orientation modules will be completed during onboarding,
